Government reinstates 48-hour limit for working students.

Dear Student Visa Holders,

We would like to inform you that unlimited working hours for students will be cancelled.

From 1 July 2023, work restrictions for student visa holders will be reintroduced to a maximum of 48 hours per fortnight, as was previously the case.

Students can continue to work unlimited hours in the aged care sector only. This will remain in effect until 31 December 2023.

Please pay attention to this nuance and do not allow any breach of the conditions of your visa permission.
