Attention skilled workers in construction sector: the best time to move to Western Australia is now!

From January 2025, the WA Government has launched the Build a Life in WA Incentive. Under this Incentive, skilled professionals in building and construction sector can receive a payment of AU$10,000, when they secure employment in construction industry in WA and move here.

Australian citizens and permanent residents as well as New Zealand citizens eligible for a subclass 444 Special Category visa are eligible to apply for this payment. The payment will be made in two instalments - $5,000 upon securing an employment with a WA employer, and further $5,000 after six months of employment.
